Reya and Rob have done an excellent job of making these beautiful tricolor pups. Born Oct 14, 2106 -4 males, 2 females. One lucky girl gets to stay with us and the others are going to help some other ranches run a lot easier!

The protein from eggs is the highest quality protein of any food.  Benefits of free range chickens include:

1/3 less cholesterol

1.4 less saturated fat

2/3 more Vit A

2 times more omega -3 fatty acids

3 times more Vit E

7 times more beta carotene

Lamb Marinade for chops

4 chops

2-3 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp  fresh rosemary finely chopped

1 tbsp thyme same as above

1 lemon

1/4 tsp balsamic vinegar

1 pinch  garlic salt or fresh 1 clove pressed

salt/pepper  to taste

Press and mix all fresh herbs and dry ingredients together in mortar and pestle then add to olive oil, balsamic , lemon and garlic. Marinade for 1 hr. Can also press into meat with  fork. Grill for 5 minutes each side depending on heat. Best if medium rare. Our meat is low fat and so flavorful you will want to savor every morsel!

We are having such a fruitful spring! The bees have tripled and our sheep flock has doubled over the last 2 weeks. We got our first set of triplets last night with a good seasoned mother ewe. The weather has been perfect for the new babies and the nursery games have begun!
